Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Museum
New Orleans, Balaklava, the Normandy Beaches, Basra – this is the heroic story of one of Scotland’s most famous regiments. They have been in the thick of the fighting since 1794. Eight rooms display the regiment’s treasures and poignant mementoes of the everyday life of a soldier. There are models of a First World War trench and of the legendary ‘thin red line’ cavalry charge during the Crimean war.
